Most games are written using < a href=http://www.libsdl.org/index.php> SDL But you can do some interesting on the Tk::Canvas and Tk::Zinc (enhanced canvas). See Perl Missile Defense with Radar and node 307332 The nice thing about SDL, is it handles multichannel sound nicely. See Tk Game Sound demo

There's PerlMUD, which is a mud codebase in Perl. There are plenty of CGI based perl 'games' out there, as well as text-based, and even some GUI ones.

You can take a look at the book Games, Diversions and Perl Culture, or just do search on your favorite search engine for 'perl games'.
