I believe that would be better thus...

Arquidiocesano Clergy in our Book

or

The Congregation for the Clergy

Clergy is the generic term used to describe the formal religious leadership within a given religion.

Depending on the religion, clergy usually take care of the ritual aspects of the religious life, teach or otherwise help in spreading the religion's doctrine and practices. They often deal with life-cycle events such as childbirth, circumcision, coming of age ceremonies, marriage, and death. Clergy of most faiths work both inside and outside formal houses of worship, and can be found working in hospitals, nursing homes, missions, armies, etc.

Perhaps you are not aware that the existing title of the node is based on at least three, possibly four, meanings of the word 'saints', one of which is specific to Perlmonks. The title actually is quite witty. Your proposed replacements fail to capture the multiple meanings or engender the same level of interest as the original title. Additionally, any change to the title of such a long-standing and well-known node is almost certainly a bad idea from a technical perspective, as it would create various breakages in links, bookmarks, and whatnot.

I agree with the part where you state that such a change would deal with the meaning of the word "saint", but I don't believe it would cause any technical problems, since the Monastery is based on nodes IDs and not names.

...the Monastery is based on nodes IDs and not names.

Mostly true, if you're talking only about "site" docs, such as the node 237040, the node 954, and so on.

But people are free to post nodes in which they link to nodes by title, and it's best not to go wantonly breaking such links, at least without very good reason. See, for example, How do I link to nodes on this site by title? :-)

We're building the house of the future together.

I understand, jdporter. As a matter of fact I was expecting that someone would say that =:c)

The truth is we, as programmers, should understand the basic difference between using a node ID and a title and that is IDs should never change and most probably won't. A node title is a whole different story just because it's nature: a bunch of words. Words carry meanings, emotions, and so on, while numbers don't (at least not in the context of this discussion).

We deal with code, databases and stuff so we should know better =;c)

Anyway, as I've stated before, I understand your point of view and yes, I must confess treating words is more comfortable and easy than numbers.
