This is the official announcement -- Damian Conway will be coming to Toronto next month (July 2004) to give two free public talks. The details regarding Damian, his talks, and his work for the Perl community worldwide can be found at:
Note that this is *the* event of the year for the Toronto Perl Mongers. We've had him in the city to do this twice in the past in 2001 and 2002, and both occasions were huge successes (e.g. several hundred people attended each talk).

I can't give you a definitive answer to that -- but I'm going to be attending at least one of his talks in Toronto, and I'll definitely be listening to his talk here at YAPC::NA. There may be some overlap, but I don't really care -- Damian's such an entertaining speaker I don't mind.
