History behind the Nick

Name Space: "Belgarion" is the name of the protagonist in David Eddings The Belgarid and The Mallorean. Mostly, the character is referred to as "Garion." I read these books when I was a lot younger, and I felt a connection to the "Garion" character.

(A more specific reason is that "Belgarion" is the most powerful wizard in the "Belgarid/Mallorean" universe. The flip side is that he's inexperienced with his power and relies on other people around him for help and guidance.)

The first four levels went by really quickly. I moved from node 21211 to node 17644 in 15 days.
