Background: Music/ Medieval Literature major who stumbled across data processing when nobody was banging down the door for my ability to sing Bach or read Beowulf and Chaucer in the original. Started teaching myself Perl out of Perl by Example in January '04, during a slow month at work, and was hooked.
Proudest moment on PM: When my very first post made Best Nodes of the Week (quite by accident, and has never happened since.)
Proudest moment I aspire to on PM:When I am able to read a question, understand it, answer it first and have the answer be right. I'm not holding my breath.

Click on a monk's name in the CB or a post you like, to go to his/ her home node. I've learned more interesting stuff that way....
